CalcBee Contest 1: January 2015

CalcBee January 2015 took place on January 10 in MIT Building 1, Room 1-190.

Registration was $5 per person, and a total of $500 was donated to MIT PRIMES.

9:00 – 9:30Rules of Contest and Logistics
9:30 – 9:45Individual Round 1 (5 integrals, 10 minutes)
9:45 – 10:30Individual Round 2 (10 short-answer general problems, 30 minutes)
10:30 – 11:00Individual Round 3 (5 free-response problems, 25 minutes)
11:15 – 11:35Team Round (10 problems)
11:45 – 13:15Lunch: Food is included, and is awesome. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies on the registration form.

All problems were based on the fundamental AP Calculus AB curriculum, simple in spirit but tough to solve!
